Oasis Pantry Hobmoor opens weekly at South Yardley Methodist Church in response to an unprecedented need supporting families and individuals who struggle to pay their bills to gain access to affordable healthy food.

Essentially, we have set up a corner shop using rooms in the church. Members pay a £4 membership fee each time they come to the pantry. Typically, they would choose 10 items to take away: 3 items valued at over £1.50 and 7 other items. They fill their basket with what they choose, just like in a shop. They typically take away food worth between £20 -£25 each visit.
